Is there a minimum budget or long-term contract required to work with Otherside?
We offer flexible, month-to-month contracts, and budget minimums vary based on your needs. In general, we recommend brands start with at least $30k/m to generate sufficient data for optimizing, though for brands in smaller niches, lower budgets may work as well. Many clients start with short-term projects or pilot campaigns – and stay with us because of the results, not because they’re locked in.

What is the onboarding and campaign management process?
We follow a 5-step process: discovery, strategy proposal, campaign build, launch, and ongoing optimization. You’ll have visibility and input at each step, but we handle the heavy lifting to get you results quickly. To ensure we're on the same page, we have a private, dedicated Slack channel for all clients and dynamically updating performance reporting.

What's it cost to work with Otherside? What if I decide that I want to back out?
We launch all new clients on our $0 retainer program for the first two months while we demonstrate performance. After that period, if we generate sufficient results for you, we offer a flat monthly retainer. We know that working with a new agency can be a risk, so we want to prove ourselves to you first, because we believe so deeply in our ability to deliver.

How long until we see meaningful results?
On average, we are able to compress the typical 4–6 month ramp-up period of comparable programmatic channels down to just 4–6 weeks using our real-time optimization algorithm.

Do I need to provide ad creatives, or can Otherside help with that?
We can use your existing assets or assist in developing high-performing creatives. We also provide guidance on specs, messaging, and optimization to ensure your ads are ready for launch.

How are programmatic ads different from advertising on Google or Meta?
Technically, these platforms function similarly in that the ads are purchased programmatically, but Google and social ads operate in closed ecosystems ('walled gardens'). True Connected Performance Ads give you access to the entire web and a broader set of premium publishers. It also enables cross-channel targeting and reach beyond just search and social media environments. Imagine every ad that exists that isn't owned by a monopoly - for example, Netflix, Spotify, Candy Crush, recipe websites, news sites, and more!

Yes. We use brand safety filters, fraud detection tools, and trusted inventory sources to ensure your ads run in quality environments. We enter partnerships directly with each publisher (think Netflix, for example) instead of arbitraging the traffic from a third party, which ensures traffic quality. In addition, we run all clicks through a third-party partner to guarantee all potential fraudulent traffic is removed from the campaign, which saves you ad dollars.
